Tsilivi is a lively resort found on the Eastern coast of the idyllic island of Zante or Zakynthos. Tsilivi is about 9km north of Zante airport and approx 4 miles north of Zante Town, the main town of the island.

Tsilivi has fast become a major resort on Zakynthos island. Although originally it was merely a small resort, Tsivili is bustling and has numerous watering holes, and eateries with a few nightclubs but is definitely not a mainstream Laganas-like resort and is ideal for both families and couples in addition to groups. The laid back resort environment plus the stunning beauty of Zakynthos and the amazing weather makes this resort a brilliant setting for visitors of any age.

Despite the recent growth Tsilivi still maintains a little orginal Zakynthean character. Most hotels are set away from the noisier areas of the resort. The sandy beach at Tsivili stretches about 2km around is definitely one of the finest on the island with a Blue Flag for safety and cleanliness. The fine sands dips gently into the sea and therefore is a great place for the kids to chill out and enjoy themselves in comparative safety. Unlike at Laganas which is a protected area for the local turtles, Tsilivi has a wide choice of watersports available.

For those that want to get out and visit the island there is an hourly bus service to Zante Town as well ass plenty of outlets to rent a vehicle. Be aware that the roads around this part of Zante are a bit of a maze and there are very few accurate road signs so take your sat nav if you own one! There is a big selection of excursions to available including visits to the world famous Shipwreck beach by either boat or bus.
